Historia giveaway: Chris Lloyd novels

16 August 2023 By Editor

Historia is giving away five prizes to celebrate Paris Requiem, Chris Lloyd’s World War Two noir novel, coming out in paperback! Five winners will each get copies of both of Chris’s Eddie Giral novels, set in the opening months of the Nazi occupation of Paris in 1940.

The first in the series, The Unwanted Dead, won the 2021 HWA Gold Crown for the best in historical fiction. For your chance to win both books, just follow the steps below. You have up to four entries.

The giveaway is open until 11.59pm on 25 August, 2023.

Follow the instructions below to enter.  You’ve got up to four chances to win and can enter using any or all of these options:

1. Sign up to the Historia mailing list. We promise not to send you spam and will never sell our mailing list. Current subscribers, just confirm you’re on the mailing list.

2. Follow us on Twitter

3. Tweet about this giveaway.

4. Visit and comment on Historia’s Facebook page. Tell us why you’d love to win this prize.

a Rafflecopter giveaway

Paris Requiem by Chris Lloyd is published in paperback on 17 August, 2023.

Get a taste of Paris Requiem in Historia’s extract from the beginning of the book.

And you can find out more about the historical background to both books in Chris’s features, The French Resistance: shadier than you think and The bureaux d’achats: how the Nazis bled France dry.

Please read the instructions carefully. And remember, if you’re a winner, you’ll need to answer our email within 48 hours (it’s all in the T&Cs, boring but useful reading). Good luck!

We’d like to thank Chris’s publisher, Orion, which is generously providing the prizes.
