Historia giveaway: Banquet of Beggars by Chris Lloyd

9 August 2024 By Editor

Historia is giving away copies of Banquet of Beggars by Chris Lloyd, the third in his Eddie Giral World War Two noir series! Five winners will each get a copy of Chris’s dark and atmospheric novel, set in Occupied Paris in 1940, as well as two exclusive extras: a special Parisian bookmark and a model Eiffel Tower.

For your chance to win our Banquet of Beggars prize package, just follow the steps below. You have up to four entries.

The giveaway is open until 11.59pm on 27 August, 2023. We’re having an extended competition time to include the Bank Holiday weekend.

Follow the instructions below to enter.  You’ve got up to four chances to win and can enter using any or all of these options:

1. Sign up to the Historia mailing list. We promise not to send you spam and will never sell our mailing list. Current subscribers, just confirm you’re on the mailing list.

2. Follow us on Twitter

3. Tweet about this giveaway.

4. Visit and comment on Historia’s Facebook page. Tell us why you’d love to win this prize.

a Rafflecopter giveaway

Banquet of Beggars by Chris Lloyd is published on 15 August, 2024.

Chris is writing us a feature to coincide with publication day.

Get a taste of the second book in the series, Paris Requiem, in our extract from the beginning of the book. And you can find out more about the historical background to Chris’s books in The French Resistance: shadier than you think and The bureaux d’achats: how the Nazis bled France dry.

Please read the instructions carefully. And remember, if you’re a winner, you’ll need to answer our email within 48 hours (it’s all in the T&Cs, boring but useful reading). Good luck!

We’d like to thank Chris’s publisher, Orion, which is generously providing the prizes.
